SANJAY POONEN leads Cohesity as Chief Executive Officer and President, driving the company's mission to protect, secure and provide insights into the world’s data so that the largest organizations in the world can rely on Cohesity for their resilience. A proven business executive with more than 25 years of experience scaling multi-billion-dollar enterprises, Sanjay brings a rare combination of technical depth, global sales leadership, and strategic vision to Cohesity.

Prior to Cohesity, Sanjay served as COO at VMware, where he oversaw sales, marketing, services, and alliances—helping double the company's revenue from approximately $6B to $12B. He was instrumental in architecting VMware's landmark cloud partnerships with AWS, Microsoft, Google, and Oracle, and led the End-User Computing business, including the acquisition of AirWatch. Prior to VMware, Sanjay served as President of SAP, leading Applications, Industries, and Platform teams across engineering and sales, contributing to growth from approximately $10B to $20B in revenue. He began his career as a software engineer at Microsoft and Apple.

Sanjay serves on the Supervisory Board of Philips and the Board of Snyk. He holds two patents, an MBA from Harvard Business School (Baker Scholar, top 5%), a master's degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, and Engineering from Dartmouth College, where he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

Sanjay has been married to his wife, Kathy, for 21 years and they have three children.

PASTOR KEVIN LEE

PASTOR KEVIN S. LEE is a devoted servant-leader, educator, author, and speaker with a passion for discipleship, biblical teaching, and leadership development. He currently serves as Associate  Pastor at Destiny Christian Fellowship in Fremont, California, and is the Founder and Pastor of  K3Cventures, a global teaching and discipleship ministry based in California. 

With more than 18 years in pastoral ministry, Pastor Kevin has faithfully served in multiple church leadership roles across the Bay Area, including Pastor of Discipleship at Crossroads Bible Church (San Jose, CA), Mobilization Pastor at Venture Christian Church (Los Gatos, CA) under the leadership of Pastor Chip Ingram, and Associate Pastor at ALCF Bay Area (Mountain View, CA) alongside Pastor Paul E. Sheppard. His ministry is marked by  clarity in preaching, depth in teaching, and a heart for equipping others to grow in Christ. 

In addition to his pastoral calling, Pastor Kevin brings more than 30 years of experience in the  legal profession, having worked with prominent law firms and judges on both the East and West  Coasts.

Pastor Kevin’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from  Northeastern University (Boston, MA), a Juris Doctor from the University of the District of  Columbia School of Law, a Master of Divinity with honors from Fuller Theological Seminary, and is a licensed and ordained minister with the Church of  God. 

A gifted communicator and educator, Pastor Kevin has also taught Hermeneutics and other Bible courses at William Jessup University and continues to mentor emerging leaders through his teaching  ministry.

Pastor Kevin is the author of several inspiring books, including God Is My Guide, God’s Words  for Life, Growing God’s Way, and Leading God’s Way. He is a sought-after speaker for churches, conferences, retreats, high schools, and professional organizations across the country. 

Pastor Kevin has been married to his wife, Connie, for 27 years, and together they are proud  parents to their son, Evan, age 17.
